Soul Action: The Noise








	If you are just starting out, or have been doing projects for years there are always a few bits of administration that can get a bit frustrating. Hopefully these pages will help cut through your workloads and provide you with a few resources that you can use and adapt. Over these pages you'll find logo's that you can download, adapt and use to publicise your project, adaptable flyers, and all sorts of forms you can use to plan and prepare your project. However, some people don't, so we've got a few prepared that the less form loving of you can download and use. Whether you are doing a big or small project it is always helpful to have certain legal aspects of your project covered. Here are a few forms that you can download and adapt to help you make sure your projects are as safely organised and prepared as possible. Each Noise project is an independently organised event linked to a local Church or group of Churches. Although we aim to help you in every way, it is essential that you consult your own policies before using and adapting ours. Volunteer Application Form (Word document) GO>> To be completed by all volunteers wishing to take part in Noise Projects Consent form (Word document) GO>> To be completed by all people under 18 wishing to volunteer during Noise Projects Liability Disclaimer Form (Word document) GO>> To be completed by all volunteers over 18 years of age Child Protection Form (Word document)GO>> We reccommend that any team leader, or person over 16 reads and signs this declaration, especially if you are hoping to provide children's activities as part of your projects. Information Sheet (Word document) GO>> It's great to be able to plan your project really effectively. This is an information sheet for you to give to your volunteers. It provides them with useful information, contact numbers and a brief timetable outline. All text is fully editable. Find out what's needed When you are planning your projects it is great to be able to identify real needs within your community. One way of doing this may be to use this adaptable form. You can print it out and drop it in letterboxes throughout your area for residents to tell you exactly what they think needs doing. It's a great method of finding out which acts of servanthood would be really worthwhile and appreciated. The leaflet is A4, folds in half, black and white and can be easily adapted for your own projects! Project Application Leaflet (Word document) GO>> Advertise away... It's great to be able to tell the world about what you are planning to do. Most of you may have very talented designers and artists in your church so please do feel free to use your own publicity. However, we like to help where we can so here is a small double sided A4 Flyer that you can adapt and use to publicise your projects and events. This flyer is designed for you to distribute around your town / village. It provides details as to what The Noise is, Contact details, and a timetable for the events you may put on. This leaflet is designed to be folded in to 3 sections, 1/3rd each Doublesided A4 Flyer (Word document) GO>> A useful idea various projects have used in the past is to collect old postcards before their project, and use them as publicity tools. A month or so before, they stick teaser printouts on top of the old postcard back, creating a nice cheap and effective way to distribute information about their project. This document acts as a teaser, alerting people to the project, and promoting recognition to the logo and dates. You may also want to add more information as to rough event details. Postcard Teaser (Word document) GO>> If you want to design your own publicity please do feel free. Below are pages dedicated to a wide range of colours and varieties of the National Noise Logo. So download a few and get to know that design programme on your computer a bit better! Logo's Logos: the greek word for word. However, add a simple apostrohpe and it becomes logo's, the subject of this section of our noisy stuff page. Attached is a png file that, if you have a decent image/design programme you should be able to edit fairly easily. Unfortunately we don't have a bigger version, but we can offer different colours!
