Soul Action sends teams to projects serving in poor communities throughout the world. At the moment we're focussing on sending people to Durban, South Africa, but more opportunities to GO to different places around the world are emerging. Soul Action 08 teams in Durban
On the 21st January our first Soul Action team of 2008 headed out on their Durban adventure. The team of five is led by Claire Thomas, and consists of Anna Perkins, Amy Paverd, Ruth Seymour and Nick Engall.

They are based at a project called Indlela, which is a project of Harvest Church working the the Amaoti township. They are running a soup kitchen, visiting crèches, helping kids with reading in the local junior school and helping at an after schools club.

We'll give you an more specific update soon, but please pray for these chaps as they get to know one another and bond as an effective team.

Thanks. If you have any questions about this emerging project, please email info@soulaction.org (and mark the email for the attention of Becca).

You can read the experiences of some people who've been on other teams here (GO>>), and we'll also give some specific team prayer points as the 2008 teams prepare to go.
