It seems that the whole world and his dog has gone Facebook or mySpace mental. And why blame them? The internet was cereated for social networking sites and we're jumping on the bandwagon.
Well, we sort of are. We're in the process of setting up a Soul Action myspace (there's already a Soul Survivor one which you can check out here: GO>>), so give us an email to say if you reckon it'll be a good idea!
Facebook, they say, is for the more refined tastes. Facebook rules (we believe, but maybe wrong) state that the site isn't for organisations, but hey that won't stop us. If you have an account see if you can track
our Soul Action group page or search for Soul Action teams or comment boards. Go on check out Facebook, you know you want to:

Facebook and Superbadger!
SuperBadger is the creation of our friends over at Tearfund. It's a revolutionary application, uniting thousands of Facebook users in the fight against global poverty.
It enables you to send pre-written emails direct from your profile to those people who make key decisions affecting those living in poverty. Whether it's badgering politicians about climate change or badgering supermarkets to stock more Fairtrade products, we all need to be in the movement of Facebook badgers!
Roughly every two weeks a new badger will be uploaded, and taking it will give you sett points and improve your rank. Could you even rise all the way to being a SuperBadger?
To add SuperBadger to your Facebook profile simply click here: GO>>
Superbadger update....
Our Superbadgers are currently sending emails to the Retail Director of Thorntons, the high street chocolatiers, asking him to stock Fairtrade Easter Eggs throughout stores nationwide.
So if you are on Facebook why don’t you add the superbadger application and get started, then invite your mates? Just follow this link: http://apps.facebook.com/superbadger
However, we want to get a pincer movement going on this one, so we're asking you to badger your local store manager too. We need you to mobilise each of your mates in your CU, on your course, at your church and those you live with to sign a “Lift The Label on Food” postcard and hand it to the manager of your local Thorntons store.
You can find your local Thorntons store by clicking here.
Try to get a photo of you handing your postcards to the store manager and email it to youthcampaigns@tearfund.org and we’ll get them up on the website!
Simply drop an email to youthcampaigns@tearfund.org letting us know how many postcards you want us to send you and your address and we’ll get them out to you!
There's loads of ways we can be your friend... of course you can just email or phone us (find out details here: GO>>)
