What does Soul Action do? It's a good question and here's some good answers!

We're trying to work around the ideas of Give, Go and Stay in how we explain and ask you to get involved with Soul Action. This is what we mean.

1. Soul Action creates opportunities to Give
We support projects that are seeking to bring about positive change in poor communities in South Africa, Zimbabwe and around the world. You can see examples of these projects here (GO>>). These projects do amazing work in the communities of which they are a part and most are in need of extra funds to ensure the change they bring to the lives of the poorest is sustained. By giving we're supporting grass roots initiatives and helping to see lives changed.

Through fundraising challenges like Slum Survivor you can help raise both money for these projects and awareness of the poverty that a billion people around the world face everyday. To find out more about getting involved in Slum Survivor then click here: GO>>

2. Soul Action creates opportunities to Go
As well as supporting projects financially, we also send teams of volunteers to serve in various projects that request extra help. You can find out more about these opportunities here (at present they are limited to Durban, South Africa): GO>>

3. Soul Action creates opportunities to Stay
We know that one of Jesus' key messages was that loving God involved loving our neighbours. Everything from AOK Day (GO>>), through to prayer initiatives (GO>>) and the Noise (GO>>) are ways in which we can Stay, seeking God in and for our local communities.

These three things are about getting us all involved in living out the gospel message, seeking God for our world. We'd love it if you fancied joining in!
